Any clone motor may be used. The engine does not have to be a Box Stock Project (yellow) motor. The Honda clone motor may be purchased at any retailer including Harbor Freight and may be prepared by the owner or any motor builder. The only modifications allowed to the motor are:

-Aftermarket air filter and adapter may be used.

Header and Muffler Requirements: Any one-piece header. A maximum 2.5” long swedged flange is required at the end of the pipe for muffler mounting. Maximum outside longest length of the header, including flanged portion for muffler is 22”. All MC Box Stock motors must meet posted AKRA BSP specifications (with the exception of carb. jet size and header requirements). All motors must submit to tech inspection upon request.
