Martin County Kartway is a 1/6 mile (844 feet 10 inches) asphalt oval located 3 miles east of I-95 off of Bridge Road (exit 96) in Hobe Sound, Florida. The track is home to the South Florida Karting Association.  In addition to the 20 regularly scheduled races, the track hosts the SFKA's annual "Shootout" in January.  The Shootout is open to all Champ Kart racers in Florida and beyond and has a guaranteed purse of $1000 plus contingencies. The track was re-paved in January of 2009 thanks to Sheltra Motorsports of Indiantown, Florida and utilizes the lastest technology in electronic scoring and timing for all of its events.  The SFKA has class structures to accommodate all ages and levels of experience from the very young novice or beginner to the seasoned, highly skilled competitor.
