Mission Statement

It is the goal of South Florida Karting to provide and promote a family atmosphere where all racers, young and old, can benefit from the racing experience in a safe and positive way. It is everyone’s responsibility to exhibit good sportsmanship and promote a safe, fair and open racing environment at the Hobe Sound Speedway.

News and Info for 2018

The 2018 Race Schedule will be revised to accomodate the preior two rain dates and the revised dates will be posted when finalized ... more info to follow and enjoy the Summer Break

Several changes for 2018 Race Season - Gate entry fee remains at $10 per person over 5 years old; the registration fee was increased for each racer to $35; the membership served little benefit to the racers and to the organization and is no longer in effect; Assigned/Reserved Parking Fee is $75 per space and the funds from parking will be used to purchase a set of scales. Those who paid for Assigned/Reserved Parking last year have first right to same pit space. Please check the website under "Classes" are there are several minor changes. Rules were posted on 1-3-2018 and have minor change dated 1-30-2018.

Reminders - Each parent shall sign an Annual Parential Consent form (white form) and each parent shall sign an event form for each race (pink form).The Race Director will determine the level of inspection for each class - may be as simple as checking a restrictor plate or counting gear teeth. Everyone must pay the prevailing entry fee; sign the waiver; and wear the wrist band - please no exceptions.

Race Day Schedule

Gates will open at 10:00 am
Controlled practice from 11am - noon
Drivers meeting will be at 1:00 racing starting at 1:30

Gate Admission - $10 per person (5 and younger $5)
Registration Fee - $35 per kart
Assigned/Reserved Parking - $75 annual
