It is the goal of South Florida Karting to provide and promote a family atmosphere where all racers, young and old, can benefit from the racing experience in a safe and positive way. It is everyone’s responsibility to exhibit good sportsmanship and promote a safe, fair and open racing environment at the Martin County Kartway.

Most racers are dialing in their set ups to the new track surface and experiencing success and improved traction. Overall fewer spin outs are resulting as well.
Congratulations to Audrey Mesa (5 year old) who took her first ride this weekend in a Novice Junior Champ and she did very nicely too!
Reserved Parking spaces were marked to help identify the areas for trailers and tow vehicles/karts/shade structures and to ensure adequate space exists.
Reminders - check your race weight before the heat races. The Race Director will determine the level of inspection for each class - may be as simple as checking a plate. Everyone must pay the prevailing entry fee; sign the waiver; and wear the wrist band - no exceptions. Each parent shall sign an Annual Parential Consent form (white form) and each parent shall sign an event form for each race (pink form). Memberships remain only $50 for the first racer in a family and $10 for the second racer; Non-member Racers shall pay $30 per class while Member Racers will pay $25 per class; pit space reservations are $25 per year and last year pit space users have first right to same pit space.
